About Us

Lauryn’s Promise is a faith-based ministry dedicated to making adoption more accessible by providing financial assistance to families in need. Founded by Adam and Sheree Earl, whose own adoption journey inspired a deep passion for helping others, our mission is to remove financial barriers so more children can find their forever families. Whether you are a family seeking support in your adoption journey or someone who wants to make a lasting impact through giving, your involvement helps bring hope, healing, and a home to children in need. Through prayer, generosity, and community, we are faithfully paving the path to forever families—one adoption at a time

Our Story

The journey of adoption began in childhood for both Adam and Sheree Earl. For Adam, it began with his mother marrying John Earl when he was 2 years old and his new father adopting both him and his older sister Elissa. For Sheree, it began at church, where she admired families that adopted, and created a lasting impression on her heart and purpose.

Adam and Sheree met in January of 2016, and married in July of 2017. Sheree had three young boys at the time, Brooks (6), Asher (4), and Easton (2). Adam fell in love with all four of them, and they began their new lives together in Anniston, Alabama. The family wanted to add another child and after many failed attempts at pregnancy, Adam and Sheree felt very confused and concerned about next steps. Through thoughtful prayer, guidance and purpose, they decided to follow a path that led to the birth and adoption of Lauryn Elissa Earl in January of 2021.

Lauryn brought the family even closer and provided Sheree with the needed healing from the loss of her first daughter in 2008. Born in Arizona under tough circumstances, the family was able to bring her home from the hospital within 24 hours and finalized her adoption in the Spring of 2021. In the summer of 2024, Adam fulfilled his promise to his wife and sons by legally adopting Brooks, Asher and Easton and officially making them Earl’s. Through their journey together, Lauryn’s Promise was formed to provide adoptive families with the financial assistance needed that can be a burden to couples and their purpose of adoption.
